fallThe Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge in northwest Oklahoma is a perfect destination for fall foliage. With more than 32,000 acres the refuge is comprised of non vegetated salt flats, water, and vegetated land that includes marsh, woods, grassland, and croplands. Hardwoods, locust, post oak, hackberry, willow trees, and cottonwoods offer a variety of autumn color from reds, to yellows, to oranges.
